My cargo-service company already sits high in Google’s organic results, yet competitors are investing heavily and are beginning to crowd us out in local packs, auto-suggest, and branded searches.
The immediate objective is to increase local search visibility. I want our name to pop up the moment someone starts typing our core keyword, to secure the top spots in Google Places, and to have our social media profiles occupy more page-one real estate.
Current status
• Google My Business is fully set up and verified, but it has not been optimised in months.
• On-page SEO is solid, though fresh keyword and competitor analysis is overdue.
• Social profiles exist but rarely surface in SERPs.
What I need from you
1. A concise action plan that covers technical, on-page, and off-page tactics specific to the UK market.
2. Full optimisation of the GMB listing—categories, services, posts, images, Q&A, tracking links.
3. Structured work on local citations, niche directories, and authority backlinks.
4. Suggestions to improve auto-suggest prominence and to push Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages higher in branded searches.
5. Transparent reporting so I can see movement in local pack rankings, search-suggest data, and social profile visibility.
Acceptance criteria
• “Cargo service” + city queries consistently trigger our listing in the local 3-pack.
• Brand shows in Google’s search-suggest drop-down within eight weeks.
• Facebook and LinkedIn pages appear on page 1 for branded searches.
• Monthly report evidencing ranking lifts, citation growth, and GMB engagement metrics.
