Freelancer Client is hiring: Reveal Redacted Text on JPEG.
Location: Remote
I have a single screenshot saved as a JPEG where a solid black mark was drawn over some typed text. I need someone who knows forensic-style image restoration or similar techniques to uncover whatever is still recoverable beneath that overlay and return both a cleaned-up image and the extracted text itself.
Because the file is a flat JPEG and the area is fully blacked out, this will likely involve edge analysis, color-channel separation, AI upscaling, or any other creative approach you trust—Photoshop, GIMP, Topaz, specialized forensic tools, even custom scripts in Python/OpenCV if that helps. I simply want the best possible recovery, even if it is partial.
