Freelancer Client is hiring: Enhance "Down to fish" iOS/android App.
Location: Remote
Hi guys brief below just a short explanation, looking for someone to start asap on a growing Australian fishing app. Our developers were good we would just prefer a freelancer someone with very good English, transparency and someone to look after our app going forward and implement the following features to finish the build. It’s currently out on App and play store. We just want to tidy it up around the edges, and then implement the duplicate spear fishing side. We wish to stick with someone long term, build a good work relationship. Would love to briefly meet someone who takes this position to show hard copy ideas but not a must. Also we are flexible with payment options, for the finishing touches I think a one off payment would be better, and then hourly when the spear fishing side coming into it? Happy to discuss further if this is for you. Thank you

• Improve layout, spacing, and overall UX
• Maintain existing functionality while improving flow
• Ensure users only see relevant posts, users, and data
• Ensure clean separation in UI (feels like two communities)
• Clean, maintainable code

iOS App UI Update + Feature Expansion (Supabase Backend)
Overview:
We have an existing iOS app called “Down to Fish” built using Swift/Xcode, with a Supabase backend. The app is live and functional.
We are looking for a developer to:
1. Implement UI improvements (already designed in Figma)
2. Add a new “user type” feature to separate Fishing and Spearfishing communities within the app

Current Tech Stack:
- Frontend: iOS (Swift, Xcode)
- Backend: Supabase (database, auth, storage)
- CI/CD: Xcode Cloud

Scope of Work:
1. UI Updates
- Implement updated designs from Figma
- Improve layout, spacing, and overall UX
- Maintain existing functionality while improving flow

2. User Type System (Fishing vs Spearfishing)
- Add user selection during onboarding:
- Fishing
- Spearfishing
- Store selection in Supabase (e.g. user profile field)
- Update app logic to:
- Filter content based on selected type
- Ensure users only see relevant posts, users, and data
- Keep both communities separate within the same app
