I need a python solution that can convert any MP4 video into a clean 3D mesh as quickly as possible. I am looking for a Python-based photogrammetry workflow that will:
automatically extract usable frames from the video,
reconstruct the scene into a watertight mesh (OBJ or PLY is fine), and
save that mesh to disk along with any intermediate files that might be useful for re-processing.
Open-source tools such as COLMAP, OpenMVG/OpenMVS, Meshroom or similar can be wired together—what matters is that the script runs from a single command, is well-commented, and includes a short README explaining all dependencies and expected runtime arguments. Speed is important, so please keep external interaction to an absolute minimum and bake sensible defaults into the code.

Acceptance criteria
1. I can point the script at an MP4 and receive a mesh without manual intervention.
2. Output mesh shows obvious alignment with the original footage (no missing chunks, major holes, or phantom geometry).
3. All steps are reproducible on a fresh Windows or Linux machine using only the instructions you provide.
If you have prior examples of video-based reconstructions, sharing one will help me evaluate quickly, as I need this delivered ASAP.
