Hardware Shop Minimalist Frontend
Summary
Freelancer Client is hiring: Hardware Shop Minimalist Frontend.
Location: Remote
I’m putting together a fresh, minimalistic front-end for a hardware store and want it built purely with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. The interface has to feel modern and clean while remaining lightning-fast, so no external frameworks or bulky libraries, please.
Requirements:
• Fully responsive—everything must look and work flawlessly on mobile, tablet, and desktop
• Smooth, subtle animations that enhance rather than distract (hover states, gentle fades, slide-ins)
• Clean, consistent typography and icon usage to reinforce the minimalist aesthetic
• Optimised assets and tidy code so load times stay low and Lighthouse scores stay high
• 1. Well-structured HTML files for each page
• 2. Modular, commented CSS (preferably organised with custom properties / BEM or similar methodology)
• 3. A single JavaScript file for interactive elements (menu toggle, form validation, simple sliders, etc.)
• 4. Any images, SVGs, or web-fonts used, already compressed
Skills: JavaScript, CSS, Animation, HTML, Frontend Development
Budget: $1500–$12500 USD

Original
I’m putting together a fresh, minimalistic front-end for a hardware store and want it built purely with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. The interface has to feel modern and clean while remaining lightning-fast, so no external frameworks or bulky libraries, please.
Scope of pages
• A welcoming Home page that immediately showcases current promotions or featured tools
• A Product section laid out in a simple grid or cards, ready for me to drop real inventory data later
• A concise About page that tells our story and highlights key values
• A Contact page with an easy-to-use enquiry form and embedded map placeholder
Core requirements
• Fully responsive—everything must look and work flawlessly on mobile, tablet, and desktop
• Smooth, subtle animations that enhance rather than distract (hover states, gentle fades, slide-ins)
• Clean, consistent typography and icon usage to reinforce the minimalist aesthetic
• Optimised assets and tidy code so load times stay low and Lighthouse scores stay high
Deliverables
1. Well-structured HTML files for each page
2. Modular, commented CSS (preferably organised with custom properties / BEM or similar methodology)
3. A single JavaScript file for interactive elements (menu toggle, form validation, simple sliders, etc.)
4. Any images, SVGs, or web-fonts used, already compressed
5. A quick README that explains file structure and how to swap in actual product data
Once complete, I should be able to drop this straight onto a hosting platform or include it in my portfolio without additional tweaks. Let me know your timeline and any recent minimalist sites you’ve coded—looking forward to seeing what you can craft.
