I’m refreshing the public face of our UK-based autonomous maritime technology company and need a designer-developer who can give the site the premium, defence-grade look and feel you see on Anduril, Helsing or Saildrone. Current site is: www.crafterexplorer.co.uk and gives the rough feel of what we are, but the site is buggy and not well built (built with free designer from NameCheap).
The primary goal is a razor-sharp product showcase of the command and control software that we make for remotely controlled vessels.
Home page – instant impact, bold hero, clear tech narrative, proudly built fully in the UK
Product pages – modular blocks for specs, imagery, videos, compliance badges we have ISO certifications which i want to include (9001, 27001, 45001)
About Us – tighten story, reinforce credibility with subtle military aesthetic

Scope of the redesign
• Home page – instant impact, bold hero, clear tech narrative, proudly built fully in the UK
• Product pages – modular blocks for specs, imagery, videos, compliance badges we have ISO certifications which i want to include (9001, 27001, 45001)
• About Us – tighten story, reinforce credibility with subtle military aesthetic
Technical expectations
• Fully responsive on mobile and tablet, built with performance budgets in mind
• Core Web Vitals in the green, image compression, lazy-loading and SVG where possible
• SEO foundations baked in: semantic HTML5, proper heading hierarchy, structured data, clean URLs, meta titles/descriptions ready for launch.
The total budget is capped at £300 and can be split into sensible milestones for design, build and final deployment. If you’ve crafted defence, aerospace or similarly high-spec sites before and can work efficiently within this limit, I’d love to see your portfolio and hear how you’d approach the transformation.
