Freelancer Client is hiring: Minimalist 16x16 Icon Set.
Location: Remote
We are looking for an experienced UI/icon designer to create clean, pixel-perfect outlined icons in 16x16 px size for a desktop application.
Requirements:
• Strong experience with small-size UI icons
• Ability to create very sharp, crisp icons aligned to pixel grid
• Experience with outlined icon style
• Consistent visual style across all icons
• Understanding of usability and readability at very small sizes
Nice to have:
• The new icons must visually fit our existing icon set, so attention to detail and consistency is extremely important. We are not looking for generic icon packs, but carefully crafted UI icons optimized for small dimensions.
• SVG source files, each on a 16 × 16 artboard
• Corresponding PNG exports for quick drop-in use
• Simple usage sheet that maps filenames to their intended action
• Acceptance Criteria
Skills: Graphic Design, User Interface / IA, Icon Design, Sketch, Figma

Deliverables
• SVG source files, each on a 16 × 16 artboard
• Corresponding PNG exports for quick drop-in use
• Simple usage sheet that maps filenames to their intended action
Acceptance Criteria
• Sharp rendering at 16 px with no blurring or misaligned strokes
• Uniform outline weight and visual balance across the whole set
• Fully editable vectors with paths cleanly organised and named
IMPORTANT TO include and write:
- Portfolio/examples of similar icon work
- Experience with pixel-perfect UI design
- Your preferred design tool
- Your price per icon
A small test task may be required before starting full cooperation.
