NJ AISC Shop & Stamped Drawings

Краткое

Freelancer Client is hiring: NJ AISC Shop & Stamped Drawings.

Location: Remote

I’m starting with a Chinese-origin CAD file and need it transformed into a fully compliant, build-ready package for use in New Jersey.

Redraft the frame to current AISC standards, switching all members from 40 × 40 mm to 2" × 2" × 1/8" square tube steel.

Add the required M10 bolt holes exactly where shown in the source file. There are no bolt holes in the source file. There is a diagram of each of the 1 meter x 1 meter cabinets that make up the 28 square meter sign which is 7 meters wide x 4 meters high and 800 mm off the ground.

The M10 bolt holes go only on the outer most 4 meter tall left and right vertical support beam and the top and bottom horizontal support beam.

Break the frame into shippable sections and show dimension specifications, material specifications, bolt and hole locations, and the total weight of each section as well as the assembled frame.

Skills: Graphic Design, CAD/CAM, Structural Engineering, AutoCAD, Engineering Drawing, Drafting, 3D CAD

Budget: $750–$1500 USD

Phase 1 – Shop drawing
• Redraft the frame to current AISC standards, switching all members from 40 × 40 mm to 2" × 2" × 1/8" square tube steel.
• Add the required M10 bolt holes exactly where shown in the source file.
• Break the frame into shippable sections and show dimension specifications, material specifications, bolt and hole locations, and the total weight of each section as well as the assembled frame.
• Return a clean CAD (dwg) and printable PDF.

Phase 2 – Engineering stamp
Using the completed shop drawing, calculate the ballast necessary for a 60 mph wind load in accordance with New Jersey building codes, then produce a signed and sealed structural drawing. The stamp must be issued by a currently licensed New Jersey structural engineer; please include your license number with your proposal.

I will supply the original CAD file as soon as we agree on the scope. If you are that NJ-licensed engineer—or you work directly with one—let’s move forward.
