Freelancer Client is hiring: Text Encoding & Structural Editing.
Location: Remote
I have a collection of draft documents that first need to be converted into a clean, uniform text encoding and then shaped through solid structural editing.
Your initial task will be encoding the text so every file opens reliably across platforms and tools. Once the material is in the agreed-upon encoding, I need you to examine the overall flow, reorder sections where logic demands, tighten paragraph hierarchy, and ensure headings, sub-headings, and transitions guide the reader smoothly from start to finish. Grammar and word choice tweaks are welcome, but the primary focus is on structure, clarity, and consistency.
Final document(s) in the chosen text encoding
A marked-up version (or tracked-changes file) showing the structural edits you made
A brief change log summarizing major rearrangements or omissions
