Tractor Loader Design Optimization -- 2
Summary
Freelancer Client is hiring: Tractor Loader Design Optimization -- 2.
Location: Remote
We require optimisation and redesign of our tractor loader structure to achieve reduced weight and lower manufacturing cost while maintaining full steel construction and existing structural performance standards.
Preferred Freelancer Locations: We are specifically seeking engineering talent located in major manufacturing hubs, including the USA, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Germany, Russia, Japan, or South Korea. Using the photos, field notes, and hand measurements provided by us, the engineer/designer should develop an accurate fully-parametric 3D AutoCAD model along with production-ready 2D fabrication drawings compatible with AutoCAD 2023.
The optimisation process should include frame geometry refinement, material efficiency analysis, and detailed FEA validation to ensure all critical structural members maintain or exceed the current factor of safety under identical load conditions. Special attention should be given to weld zones, plate thicknesses, pin sizes, and hydraulic cylinder mounting points while ensuring compliance with relevant ISO agricultural machinery standards. The target is a minimum documented 8% weight reduction without compromising durability or operational reliability.
Required deliverables include complete DWG manufacturing files, BOMs, weld call-outs, A3 print-ready fabrication drawings, and a comparative FEA report showing stress, deflection, and weight improvements between the original and optimised design. A concise engineering summary highlighting practical production cost-saving opportunities should also be included.
Expected turnaround for the first draft should preferably be within 4–6 days depending on the quality and completeness of data shared. Multiple revision cycles should be included to finalise the design efficiently.
Skills: CAD/CAM, 3D Rendering, Solidworks, Mechanical Engineering, Finite Element Analysis, AutoCAD, Product Design, 3D Modelling, 3D Design
Budget: $37500–$75000 USD
