I have a set of corporate Human Resources reports in English that must be rendered into fluent, accurate Brazilian Portuguese. The files combine HR policies, employee-related data tables, and performance appraisal narratives, so I need someone who can balance legal-compliance wording with a friendly, internal-communication tone.
Context
Although these reports originate from a fintech/SaaS environment, the core requirement here is HR expertise: correct terminology for CLT-based policies, full respect for LGPD when handling personal data, and language that resonates with Brazilian staff and executives alike.
Scope of work
• Translate and localize HR policies, employee data sections, and performance evaluation content, preserving the original layout (Word, Excel, or PPT as supplied).
• Maintain brand voice and any existing terminology glossaries.
• Apply a recognised CAT tool (Trados, memoQ, or similar) so I can receive the translation memory for future updates.
• Perform a final self-QA to eliminate terminology inconsistencies or formatting drift.
Deliverables
1. Fully translated documents in their original file formats.
2. Corresponding TMX file or bilingual exports.
3. A short change-log noting any source ambiguities you resolved.
Acceptance criteria
– 100 % of text converted with no untranslated strings.
– HR, legal, and fintech terms rendered consistently and correctly.
– Layout and tables mirror the source files.
– Final files pass an automated spell check and a manual read-through for natural flow in Brazilian Portuguese.
