I’ve already completed the branding, copy, core business logic, monetization flow, and the entire front-end user experience for Servd Co.—all sitting neatly on a WordPress front-end. What I now need is a meticulous web developer who can step in, wire up the server-side marketplace mechanics, and carry the platform through to a production-ready launch.
The immediate scope centers on three critical features:
• User authentication & profile management
• Secure payment processing with split payouts for cooks and platform fees
• A flexible booking and scheduling system that lets families reserve breakfast, dinner or bulk meal-prep sessions
The underlying tech stack for the backend is still open; I’m happy to hear your recommendations, whether you lean toward Node.js, Django, Laravel, or another framework you feel best aligns with WordPress on the front end and can scale with marketplace traffic.
To succeed, you should be comfortable inheriting existing code, integrating third-party APIs for payments and calendars, and writing clean, well-documented modules that can pass code reviews and security audits. Once these core services are live in staging, we’ll iterate quickly, test with early users, and flip the switch for launch.
If you’ve built production marketplaces before—especially those involving real-time bookings and payments—let’s talk.
