Desktop Finished Goods Inventory System
Summary
Freelancer Client is hiring: Desktop Finished Goods Inventory System.
Location: Remote
I need a desktop application that keeps precise tabs on my finished goods as they move from raw material right through to packaged stock. The single-biggest requirement is rock-solid inventory tracking: every shift in quantity—whether it happens during processing, assembly, or final packing—must update instantly so I always know on-hand, work-in-progress, and ready-to-ship counts.
Nice to have:
• Well-commented source code
• Short user guide showing how to add items, record stage movements, and view real-time stock levels
• Acceptance criteria
• I can define a product, push it through custom stages (raw → semi-finished → packaged), and watch inventory numbers update without manual refresh.
• All transactions persist after a restart.
I am comfortable with any Windows-friendly stack you prefer—.NET (C#/WPF or WinForms) or even a cross-platform tool like Electron—so long as the program runs offline, installs easily, and performs smoothly. A clear, searchable interface and the ability to import or export data via CSV/Excel would be welcome bonuses.
Skills: .NET, Excel, C# Programming, Inventory Management, C++ Programming, WPF, Database Management, Desktop Application
Budget: $1500–$12500 USD
