I'm looking for a skilled video editor to create engaging Instagram Reels.
What you'll do:
• Edit short-form vertical videos (30 sec – 3 mins)
• Add transitions, effects, captions, subtitles, emojis, music, and sound effects
• Create engaging hooks within the first 3 seconds
• Optimize videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels
• Maintain brand consistency across all videos
• Cut long-form videos into multiple short clips/reels
• Add product highlights, text overlays, motion graphics, and call-to-actions
• Stay updated with current reel trends, viral formats, and editing styles
Requirements:
• Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut / DaVinci Resolve
• Strong understanding of social media content trends
• Experience in editing vertical videos (9:16 format)
• Ability to create engaging subtitles and fast-paced edits
• Basic understanding of color correction and audio balancing
• Creativity in storytelling and visual presentation
• Ability to work independently and take feedback positively
• Prior experience editing reels for brands, influencers, or businesses
Nice to have:
• Multiple short clips from one long video
• Trend-based editing styles suitable for higher reach and engagement
