Mash Strategies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Freelance Website & Digital Content Manager to support the ongoing management and maintenance of the agency’s website. This role is remote and ideal for a freelancer who understands branding, communications, and digital storytelling, and can ensure the Mash Strategies website remains current, polished, and aligned with the agency’s evolving work and client portfolio.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, visually aware, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced agency environment.
Scope of Responsibilities
Website Management
Maintain and regularly update the Mash Strategies website
Add and edit service pages, case studies, team updates, and announcements
Upload blogs, media coverage, reports, and portfolio content
Update event pages and agency initiatives as needed
Brand & Content Support
Ensure all website content aligns with Mash Strategies’ brand voice and visual identity
Format and optimize content for readability and user experience
Refresh homepage content and featured projects regularly
Support launches, campaigns, and major announcements
Technical Maintenance
Coordinate with developers for advanced technical needs when necessary
SEO & Performance
Implement basic SEO best practices
Update metadata, keywords, and image optimization
Monitor website analytics and performance trends
Recommend improvements to increase engagement and visibility
Expectations
Estimated 4-12 hours per month; not to exceed 20 hours monthly.
Freelancer is expected to be timely and responsive; responding to requests within five hours, and turnaround task(s) within 24 hours, unless otherwise specified.
Preferred Experience
Experience managing agency or professional service websites
Strong proficiency in WordPress, Squarespace, or relevant platform
Strong eye for branding, layout, and storytelling
Strong SEO and analytics knowledge
