I run an on-demand bicycle-messenger platform that connects independent couriers with local businesses through our iOS/Android app. To launch in compliance and keep both riders and customers protected, I need two clear, legally sound documents:
• Privacy Policy – must spell out exactly what data we collect through the app and driver portal, how we use it to match orders, the limited cases in which we share it with third-party services (maps, payment processors, analytics), and the rights users have to view, correct, or delete their information.
• Terms of Service – should cover user responsibilities on both sides of the marketplace (courier conduct, customer booking rules), solid liability limitations for accidents or late deliveries, and straightforward termination conditions if a rider or customer breaches the rules.
Please write each policy in plain, readable English while still reflecting common U.S. legal standards (GDPR/CCPA awareness is a plus because we may expand). I’ll provide existing app screenshots, our current signup flow, and any additional operational details you require. Deliver the two polished documents in editable Word/Google Doc format so I can drop them straight into the website and app.
A separate Non-Disclosure Agreement might be useful down the road, but for now the focus is squarely on the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
