Compile Excel Data for Analysis
Summary
Freelancer Client is hiring: Compile Excel Data for Analysis.
Location: Remote
I have a collection of Excel workbooks packed with both text and numeric fields. I need every row lifted out, checked for obvious entry errors, and placed into a single, tidy dataset that I can use directly for data-analysis tasks later on.
You’ll start with the existing spreadsheets, standardise column headers, normalise dates, be sure numeric columns remain numeric, and flag anything that looks inconsistent so I can review it quickly. When you’re done I expect one consolidated file—XLSX or CSV is fine—plus a brief change log that notes any assumptions or corrections you had to make.
If you’re comfortable with Excel power-tools or a bit of Python/Power Query to speed things up, feel free; the key outcome is a clean, analysis-ready dataset that mirrors the source content without surprises.
Skills: Python, Data Processing, Data Entry, Excel, Data Cleansing, Data Analysis, Data Integration, Data Management
Budget: $600–$1500 USD
