Project Description:
I need an experienced packaging designer to convert my existing rice bag artwork (currently in PNG/PDF format) into fully editable, print-ready vector files for offset printing in India.
About the brand:
Sovereign's Choice is a premium USDA Organic Basmati rice brand. The design has an ornate, royal aesthetic with gold filigree borders, decorative elements, and elegant typography on a black background.
Deliverables required:
1. Adobe Illustrator (.AI) source files — fully editable, all layers organized and named
2. EPS files for the printer
3. PDF/X-1a print-ready export with crop marks and bleed
4. All four panels: Front, Back, Left Side, Right Side
5. Source files for future product line expansion (10 SKUs planned)
Technical specifications (non-negotiable):
- Color mode: CMYK (not RGB)
- Resolution: 300 DPI minimum
- Bleed: 3mm on all sides
- Dimensions: 110mm × 240mm per panel (final trim 104mm × 234mm)
- Gold elements: Pantone 871 C metallic gold (spot color)
- Fonts: All fonts converted to outlines/paths
- Layers: Properly organized and labeled (background, borders, typography, USDA Organic seal, barcode area, batch info)
What I will provide:
- Current PNG artwork of all four panels
- Brand guidelines and color codes
- USDA Organic seal placement
- GTIN barcode (will be supplied separately)
- Reference samples of the design intent
Important:
- I need someone who has done food packaging or CPG (consumer packaged goods) vector work before — please show examples in your bid
- The files must be accepted by an offset printer in India without rework
- I will retain full ownership of all source files and design rights
- A simple NDA will be required before sharing artwork
Budget: $50–150 USD (please bid your actual rate; quality matters more than lowest price)
Timeline: 3–5 days from project start
