High-Detail DWG to Revit Conversion
Summary
Freelancer Client is hiring: High-Detail DWG to Revit Conversion.
Location: Remote
I have a set of DWG drawings that must be rebuilt natively inside Revit 2023, matching them element-for-element at a high level of detail. Every architectural, structural, and MEP component shown in the DWGs needs to become a properly categorized Revit element so the resulting model behaves exactly like one started directly in Revit—clean object styles, correct materials, hosted MEP systems, and phase settings intact.
Benefits & perks:
• One clean, audit-free Revit 2023 model per DWG provided
Skills: CAD/CAM, 3D Rendering, Structural Engineering, AutoCAD, 3D Modelling, Revit, Architectural Rendering, Building Information Modeling
Budget: $1500–$3000 USD

Original
I have a set of DWG drawings that must be rebuilt natively inside Revit 2023, matching them element-for-element at a high level of detail. Every architectural, structural, and MEP component shown in the DWGs needs to become a properly categorized Revit element so the resulting model behaves exactly like one started directly in Revit—clean object styles, correct materials, hosted MEP systems, and phase settings intact.
The job centres on accuracy: wall and floor thicknesses must reflect the source, grids and levels have to align perfectly, and the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing runs need to be modeled with the correct system classifications so schedules generate automatically. Where the DWG includes blocks or symbols, translate them into native Revit elements rather than importing as CAD. I will supply the DWG files, any supplementary PDF references, and a title-block template; you return a Revit 2023 (.rvt) file ready for coordination and documentation.
Deliverables
• One clean, audit-free Revit 2023 model per DWG provided
• All views purged of unused items, with sheets and view templates matching the original layout
• No leftover CAD geometry; everything must be native Revit geometry
• Consistent project browser organization for easy navigation
• A brief change log noting any clarifications or assumptions made during conversion
The model will be reviewed against the DWGs for dimensional accuracy and the presence of all MEP elements before sign-off.
