I have already linked our platform to the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API and everything tests green—except for one critical step: during doctor onboarding the verification code never reaches the handset. We rely on WhatsApp verification (not SMS or voice) and, although the request appears to succeed, no code shows up and no explicit error is returned. I have tried several phone numbers and the problem is consistent, so the root cause is somewhere in the integration or Business Manager configuration rather than with a specific device or carrier.
What you'll do:
• Audit the current Cloud API setup, webhook configuration, phone-number status and two-step verification settings inside Meta Business Manager.
• Trace the outbound request/response cycle, confirm the message is created, and identify why the template or OTP is not delivered.
