We are building PharmaGuard AI — an AI-powered pharmaceutical verification and medicine intelligence platform focused on detecting packaging anomalies, counterfeit risks, formulation inconsistencies, and trust gaps within the healthcare ecosystem.
What you'll do:
• Future integration with pharmacies, hospitals, distributors, and regulatory ecosystems
• Architect the entire technical ecosystem
• Lead product and infrastructure decisions
• Build scalable AI systems
• Manage backend + AI pipeline architecture
• Develop secure production-grade systems
• Create MVP → beta → production roadmap
• Build engineering culture from day one
Requirements:

• This role is ideal for someone who wants to become a founding CTO rather than just complete tasks.
Nice to have:
• Strong experience in some or most of:
• FastAPI / Node.js

This is not a typical freelance gig.
This is an opportunity to become a founding technical leader in a mission-driven AI startup.
Important Before Applying
We are currently at the pre-revenue / early-stage startup phase.
At this stage:
We are not able to offer a fixed salary upfront
Initial compensation will be based on:
Equity / ownership mindset
Long-term partnership
Revenue-sharing structure after traction/funding
Once we achieve traction, funding, or enterprise partnerships, the CTO role will transition into a compensated executive position

CTO Responsibilities
You will work directly with the founder and help:
Architect the entire technical ecosystem
Lead product and infrastructure decisions
Build scalable AI systems
Manage backend + AI pipeline architecture
Develop secure production-grade systems
Create MVP → beta → production roadmap
Build engineering culture from day one
Help shape fundraising and technical strategy
Preferred Skills

Python
