Freelancer Client is hiring: Finalization of PHP Integration.
Location: Remote
Finalisation phase only for an existing PHP integration between GoHighLevel (shop checkout) and a POS API, hosted on AWS EC2 + RDS. The integration is approximately 90 percent complete. This project covers the final sprint to live state plus a 7-day post go-live bug-fix window.
Existing freelancer with prior context on the codebase preferred — please reference prior work in your bid.
All items must be delivered to working state on the live server, verified by the end client on the POS.
Switch from the current default (0000000014 "Credit Card") to the correct "Online Purchase" payment number. Confirm the correct paymentNumber via the paymenttypes endpoint and apply across all transaction calls.
Confirm from official api docs (/slapi/clients/insertgiftcert) whether giftCertNo is auto-generated by api on POST or must be generated client-side. Implement accordingly. Test on sandbox, then live.

SCOPE OF WORK
All items must be delivered to working state on the live server, verified by the end client on the POS.
Online-purchase payment type
Switch from the current default (0000000014 "Credit Card") to the correct "Online Purchase" payment number. Confirm the correct paymentNumber via the paymenttypes endpoint and apply across all transaction calls.
Flex-value gift certificate handling
Confirm from official api docs (/slapi/clients/insertgiftcert) whether giftCertNo is auto-generated by api on POST or must be generated client-side. Implement accordingly. Test on sandbox, then live.
Refund / reversal API path
Identify the correct api endpoint(s) for reversing a transaction and implement the flow end-to-end from GHL refund event through to api.
Client demographics update allowlist
Restrict /clients/updatedemographics so it can only modify address, phone, email, and communication preferences. DOB, age verification fields, client number, original signup date, and name must be permanently locked after initial capture. Required for Irish HSE 18+ compliance.
GHL webhook idempotency
Ensure duplicate webhook firings (order create + order status update) cannot cause duplicate api transactions. Use the order ID as the idempotency key. Must be verified with a deliberate duplicate-fire test.
Live deployment + smoke test
Deploy all sandbox-complete items to live, followed by a controlled smoke test on the live server — one €1 test transaction verified by the end client on the POS before the shop is opened to public.
End-to-end live verification
Verify all four core deliverables on live: (a) the three package products (€40 / €70 / €120), (b) flex-value gift certificates, (c) multi-location product syncing
DEFINITION OF DONE
A real customer can complete a purchase on the live shop URL
The purchase appears correctly in the live POS with no manual intervention
End client verifies and signs off on POS-side appearance for all four core deliverables
All seven scope items deployed and operating on live without warnings or errors
INCLUDED — 7-DAY POST GO-LIVE BUG-FIX WINDOW
A 7-day post go-live bug-fix window is included in this project for any defects in the scope items above.
Defect fixes only — no new feature work, no scope additions
Response within 24 hours of issue report
Final milestone release happens at the END of the 7-day window, not at go-live
