I’m building a single app that seamlessly connects everyone involved in our healthcare staffing agency—carers, coordinators, clients, and managers—across iOS, Android, and the Web.
What you'll do:
• Coordinators / Admin staff handle the back office: they create and edit bookings, run instant compliance checks, and push data straight into payroll. On top of that, I need an analytics dashboard that tracks fulfilled vs. unfilled shifts and drill-downs for staff performance.
• Managers look at big-picture reports—shift fulfilment rates, incident logs, and overall compliance status—without touching day-to-day bookings.
• Push notifications for carers and coordinators; email summaries for managers if that’s quicker for them.
• Hand-over of well-documented source code, database schema, and deployment scripts so my team can maintain it long-term.
Requirements:
• Carers / Nurses log in to check upcoming shifts, upload compliance documents, and submit timesheets. They also need in-app messaging to the office, real-time notifications when new shifts become available or paperwork expires, and a simple profile area to update availability, skills, and certificates.
• One shared code-base where practical, yet fully native-feeling experiences on iOS and Android, plus a responsive web portal.

• Clients / Care Homes request cover in a couple of clicks, see matching carers, and later approve submitted timesheets on their own portal.

Key expectations
- One shared code-base where practical, yet fully native-feeling experiences on iOS and Android, plus a responsive web portal.
- Secure sign-in (OAuth or similar), role-based access, and GDPR-compliant data handling.
- Push notifications for carers and coordinators; email summaries for managers if that’s quicker for them.
- Clean, intuitive UI—many users are non-technical and need to find information fast.
- Hand-over of well-documented source code, database schema, and deployment scripts so my team can maintain it long-term.
Acceptance criteria
1. All four user roles can complete their primary journeys end-to-end without errors.
2. Coordinators’ dashboard populates live data and exports CSV.
3. Notifications trigger within five seconds of shift creation.
4. Test coverage ≥80% on business logic; critical paths covered by UI tests.
5. App passes Apple App Store and Google Play submission reviews.
