We are looking for an experienced Laravel developer to build a new module for our existing platform called Carmetric, a Laravel-based application for car dealerships.
The goal of this project is to integrate the platform with MercadoLibre Uruguay so dealerships can synchronize their vehicle listings directly with their MercadoLibre accounts through the MercadoLibre API.
This is NOT a standalone project — the developer must work on an existing Laravel codebase and extend the current dealership workflow.
Main Objectives
The module should allow car dealerships to:
Connect their MercadoLibre Uruguay account to Carmetric
Publish vehicles simultaneously on Carmetric and MercadoLibre
Keep listings synchronized automatically
Manage MercadoLibre publication status from within the platform
Scope of Work
1. MercadoLibre Account Connection
Inside the dealership account settings, add a new section where users can:
Connect their MercadoLibre Uruguay account
Authenticate through MercadoLibre API
Store the linked MercadoLibre account securely
Maintain synchronization between Carmetric and MercadoLibre
The integration must follow MercadoLibre API best practices and authentication flow.
2. Publish Vehicles to MercadoLibre
When a dealership publishes a vehicle in Carmetric, they should have the option to:
Also publish the vehicle on MercadoLibre
Send all required listing data through the MercadoLibre API
Upload vehicle information, images, features, specifications, etc.
Keep the MercadoLibre listing synchronized with Carmetric
If a vehicle is edited in Carmetric, the MercadoLibre listing must also update automatically.
3. MercadoLibre Publication Type Selection
When enabling MercadoLibre publication, the user must be able to select the publication type:
Silver (Plata)
Gold (Oro)
Gold Premium (Oro Premium)
The selected listing type must be sent correctly through the API.
4. Synchronization Status in Listings Index
In the vehicle listings table/index, display the MercadoLibre synchronization status, such as:
Sent
Published
Rejected
Not synchronized
This allows dealerships to easily identify synchronized listings.
5. MercadoLibre Taxonomy Synchronization
The module must import and keep synchronized the vehicle taxonomies/categories used by MercadoLibre, including for example:
Vehicle brands
Models
Years
Versions
Features/accessories
Other required vehicle attributes
These taxonomies should be available inside Carmetric when creating/editing listings, avoiding manual data entry.
6. Listing Activation / Deactivation Synchronization
The module must properly synchronize listing states:
If a listing is disabled in Carmetric → disable it in MercadoLibre
If a listing is reactivated in Carmetric → reactivate it in MercadoLibre
7. Listing Deletion Synchronization
If a synchronized vehicle listing is deleted in Carmetric:
It must also be removed/deleted from MercadoLibre
8. Subscription System Compatibility
The current platform already has a subscription system.
The module must respect existing subscription restrictions:
Users without an active subscription cannot publish vehicles
This restriction must apply both:
to the main dealership account
and to dealership sales agents/employees
9. Sales Agent Compatibility
The MercadoLibre synchronization and publication features must also work for dealership sales agents (sub-users/employees associated with the main dealership account).

Important Notes
The platform is already fully functional
Existing dealership, subscription, and agent systems are already implemented
The application language is Spanish, but:
No translation/localization work is required for this project
