Key behaviour
• As soon as a user hits “Submit,” the text must appear on the next free row in the sheet.
• Before committing the entry, the form should check the sheet for duplicates and alert the user if the same text already exists, preventing double posts.
• Everything must work in real time; I don’t want to refresh the sheet manually to see new rows.
Tech notes
I’m comfortable with you using Google Apps Script, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, or any lightweight framework you prefer. If you like leveraging Claude or ChatGPT to speed up the build or generate validation logic, feel free—that’s actually a plus. The only requirement is that the final code be clean, documented, and easy for me to tweak later.
Deliverables
1. Hosted forms (Google Apps Script web app, Firebase hosting, or similar—your call)
2. Connected Google Sheet with duplicate-check logic live
3. Source files and brief setup README so I can redeploy if needed
