Original
I have resurrected a long-discontinued multiplayer game and already rebuilt much of the original Lingo code that drives the front end. What I now need is a fresh set of expert eyes on the server side:
• First, audit the current backend, trace why several existing calls fail to reach or respond correctly to the rebuilt client, and patch whatever is broken so every advertised function works again.
• Once stability is restored, implement a round of enhanced game mechanics that I will outline in detail after you are oriented. These improvements should slot cleanly into the codebase without breaking legacy behaviour.
Access to the full, reconstructed Lingo assets, current server files, and a running test environment will be granted on day one. I am looking for clean, well-commented code, regular commit checkpoints, and short progress notes so we can iterate quickly. If this sounds like a challenge you’d enjoy, let’s bring this classic title back to life together.
